A beautiful cake for a 60th wedding Anniversary celebrations arrived fresh and ready to enjoy . Village Concierge made the wedding preparations stress free in the catering department. Aman Resorts, Indonesia:

Chrissie Lincoln of Aman Resorts Indonesia loved the event we created by telling us. “Thank you David and your entire team for our Aman event in Sydney last week! The food, wines and service were all incredible, can’t wait to plan our next event with you!”

For the Aman Event, we took key ingredients from the resort menus and created a menu exclusively for the client with Asian and Australian influences.

The menu, guests enjoyed;

  • Oysters with palm sugar and lime dressing
  • Grilled pork and prawn galangai with kaffir lime on lemongrass skewers with chilli jam.
  • Crab meat and shallot omelette with coriander and hoisin sauce
  • BBQ marinated Wagu beef with oyster sauce, garlic and ginger caramelised baby tomatoes
  • Rice paper rolls with prawns, Thai herbs, roast peanuts and nam jim
  • Complimented with a choice of substantial canapé
  • Thai beef, with green mango, papaya and roasted  rice noodle salad with hot and sour dressing
  • Chicken satay skewer with cucumber and shallot pickle on steamed rice with peanut sauce

The venue, a private residence, nestled in the cliffs of Bronte with sweeping view of the Pacific ocean.
