About the Save Sight Registries
The Save Sight Registries is a web-based data collection tool that your ophthalmologist can use to track how your eye disease is progressing. It was created in 2007 and established in 2015 with the goal of investigating whether therapies for eye diseases work as well and as safely in the real world as they do in clinical trials.
By recording changes in your vision over time, it helps your doctor decide upon the best method of treating your disease to help you preserve your vision.
This information can be analysed in real-time by generating graphical reports that can show you whether your vision is improving or becoming worse.
