The Save Sight Registries provides a web-based data collection tool to effectively demonstrate – in real-time, and within the clinical environment – the response of a patient to administered treatments and the longitudinal treatment outcomes of patients treated for eye diseases such as macular degeneration.
Because it is web-based, the system can be accessed from any computer in the clinical practice, allowing for flexibility in entering and viewing patient treatment data.
Registration to participate in the Save Sight Registries or one of its modules is quick, simple, and free. A valid email address is required, which will become the username, and an individual password will need to be created at the time of registration. The password is user-specific and can be changed only by that user at any time.
Once registered, an introduction and training session of approximately 30 minutes duration will be scheduled. This session is conducted by an experienced Project Coordinator.
When logged-in to the system, the ophthalmologist can download PDF user guides to assist with navigation and general use of the system. Alternatively, the Save Sight Registries team can be contacted by telephone or email if you have any problems with accessing the system.
